Can i still join this contest? Can i still win? Its just now i’ve seen this post. Oh well. But really, i just wanna let you know how much i love avril and why i should win those vip tickets. Well that avril shirt that i’m wearing, i made it when i was still on third year high school. I printed it on silk screen as part of our activity in the TLE subject. It’s been so long. I’m now on second year college. 18yo and my love for avril is still the same. For me she’s the best songwriter living in this world. I love her. I lover her songs that are so true, and that stikes your heart so good. And her music. That Let Go album leads me back when i was on second year. Time when i’m at my peak of love for her. During her the best damn thing times. And i bought that album at MOA during our field trip coz i was really longing to have at least one of her albums. And i didnt see it anywhere in record bars near me. So when i got to moment to check it out in MOA. It didnt hesitated. And a big struggle of mine that time is that i don’t really have money to buy that one. So what i did is that i owe two of my close friends some money. Thats why this cd is so memorable. I remember thos good friends of mine in highschool that i really miss now! And of course when i play this i remember how i really adore avril lavigne. I also remember the times when she went here for The Best Damn Thing concert. I was also second year at that time. I was so insane that i actually wrote a letter of wish to Wish Ko Lang to be able to make my dream come true. To see my idol. But unfortunately. After waiting for months i didn’t receive any response. And now. It’s for the third time that i’ve been dreaming of this. I hope it will finally come true. Coz i will really flood in tears when i miss this chance. I’m really hoping you pick me to win this one. I just love this awesome artist. She’s a great part of me now, as an older person from before. She’s part of what i am now. God. I love her.

Reminded me of one speaker at the Philippine Biodiversity Expedition symposium yesterday. She said that there are those among us who join environmental advocacy groups and yet when we go out for dinner with family and friends, we order shark’s fin soup. The irony…
